Christmas Means Mobile Shopping

According to a recent survey, UK consumers are planning to hit their mobile phones hard when buying gifts this Christmas. In the usual Christmas spending frenzy, shoppers will be looking to avoid long queues and busy physical retail stores and shop in the comfort of their own home (or office, you would expect).

What does this mean for Retailers – well nothing has really changed, as the message is all about connecting with your consumers in whatever channel suits them best. This means intimately understanding their buying habits and adapting to their chosen method of purchase.
