High Streets Showing Signs Of Recovery

It would appear that the positive results for UK Retailers since the start of the year have started to filter through to reduced vacancy rates in high street retail space. According to a new (small) survey by Colliers International, vacancy rates have fallen from 15.1% six months ago to 13% today. There may be several reasons for this – less stores closing, more stores opening or a combination of both. Either way you look at it, this is positive news for Retailers.
